Are aliens real or not?

Apparently, there have been reported UFO sightings? Do you think they're real?
Also, do you believe in ghosts? I think many thing are possible, even the things that most ppl may find IMpossible. i am not the one to tell u that aliens are real. but the universe is big and it really only takes a star (there are BILLIONS of them out there) to help another planet develop organisms. i really don't know. and yes i do believe in ghosts.

I do not believe in aliens, but something I think maybe happened as Roswell and there was much coverup. There could be aliens, but never saw one. It is interesting to hear, read, watch and think about. I hope they are not real as they look so slimy. I think ghosts could be real, hope so, hope more goes on in the afterlife, saw a cloudy thing once and one guy who looked like a photo and then was gone, but maybe he just left, but not sure how, I kind of believe in ghosts, interesting to ponder as well

I don't think that there are stereotypical aliens that fly about in UFOs, i do however believe that there must be some other living organisms somewhere out in the universe. It might not be as evolved as the animals on our planet but there has got to be something, but they not going to fly to earth n abduct people and have advanced technology etc :)las08

Yes I believe in spirits. As for Aliens, well that is up for you to observe the evidence that supports both sides and decide on you're own. It could help for you to ask yourself, in t his huge universe of planets and many suns and moons do I really think that we are the only life in it all?

It would seem quite silly to think that we are in my opinion.
As for UFO it doesn't mean aliens, it only means that the object seen is unidentified.

Despite many years of reported UFO sightings, there has never been any true verifiable evidence to prove they really do exist. Conspiracy theories about aliens crashing at Roswell, NM and the various other alleged UFO cover-ups are nothing more than pure speculation. The chances are very good that alien life exists SOMEWHERE else besides Earth, but frankly there has been no truly convincing evidence that they have visited the Earth or abducted people for "medical experiments". UFO believers are a lot like religious people, they WANT to believe and so they will believe it no matter if there is no real evidence to support it. The experiences of people who claim to have had alien encounters are in many ways VERY similar to people who claim to have had religous encounters with angels or demons,etc. I think this is due to some deep seated part of the human brain that wants to believe that there are beings or creatures that are more advanced or above us. But as the famous astronomer Carl Sagan was fond of saying: "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence". I think he was right. Does intelligent life or even life exist on other planets? Most likely
Have they visited us less than doubtful, considering the scare number of stars within say 50 light years of earth, and even traveling at 100x the speed of light it would still take something like 6 months of travel time to get here from there at the 50 LY mark, less time would elapse for the traveler than the 6 months. That asking a lot from any society to be out of contact with its home world and its travelers/explorers. Even achieving LS is a technological extreme to begin with.
No to the ghosts thing either.
Are we alone in the Universe or even the galaxy? Probably not, 100billion stars in this galaxy alone and billions of galaxies, so life probably exists in many forms on many planets.
Have we been visited? Most unlikely, you would need a hyper-drive, warp-drive or a some kind of fold space drive on your space ship to travel any meaningful distince within the galaxy to reach any star outside of one's own solar system.

Let me paraphrase Jodie Foster's character from the movie Contact. If we're the only intelligent life in the universe, that's an awfully big waste of space.

Of course they are real, watch the DOCUMENTARY on area 51. More truths get released yearly, or as time passes. Alien meaning "not from earth" - yes they are real, and if they can travel in space or in time, they obviously are more intelligent, and more technologically advanced, than us vain humans that think we are the only intelligent life form in the entire universe. Governments don't tell us everything, because we are not open minded enough to grasp that we are not the only beings. What would most people do if they saw an alien? They'd kill them or scream, or think they came to take over the world. PLEASE, who would want our world? People panic.

I just read a book "Secret Life: Firsthand, Documented Accounts of UFO Abductions" by David M. Jacobs. It's very good, I recommend it. He will convince you that aliens are real. Though I hope he's wrong, they are scary. He even hopes he's wrong, from that end of it.
