Mod Podge equivalent?

I'm planning on making my own custom laptop skin. The guide I read says to use mod podge, but is there another glue-like substance I can use besides that?

I was planning on using cement glue onto laminate paper to stick the images. The only problem is the final coating. Can cement glue be used as a coating as well? Or perhaps those gloss acrylic coating sprays would do?

The pictures are gonna be on top of a laminate sticker (which is gonna be placed on the laptop) Mod Podge is GOD!

Now is this going on the actual laptop? or a removable cover for the laptop?

It all depends on what kind of design your talking about...collage? Mod podge for sure. One big picture or pre-made object...glue it on then use a protective spray coating.

Do not use cement glue as a coating...it will crack and peel. I would use Mod Podge then the spray to seal it.
