I didn't have much time on lunch today, and I just grabbed Blood Noir.. n
I looked it up on here first to see if I may like it, and it seems to be the end of a series... so should I start at the beginning, or are they not really related where I can just read it.?I haven't read them but I know that they are related. they are as follows:
Anita Blake Series:
Guilty Pleasures
The Laughing Corpse
Circus Of The Damned
Lunatic Cafe
Bloody Bones
The Killing Dance
Burnt Offerings
Blue Moon
Obsidian Butterfly
Narcissus In Chains
Cerulean Sins
Incubus Dreams
Micah
Danse Macabre
The Harlequin
Blood NoirThey are related, and there are recurring characters that you will have a better understanding of if you read from the beginning.
However i don't think its completely necessary to have read them all to enjoy the book. Each book is basically a different story. The first books are better in my opinion, they are less soft core porn and more storyline. Yes, it's the most recent book (number 17, I think) in the Anita Blake series. Try "Guilty Pleasures", the first book in the series, then go from there. Things make a lot more sense that way. Unfortunately, the series diverts from zombie raising and vampire hunting and detective work to focus more on Anita's sexual relationships, starting with Narcissus In Chains. All the ones that follow are more of her "romantic" exploits than any of the storyline points that made the series popular in the first place.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
