How can i make my daughter a halloween costume?

  • out of things around the house? I was thinking about perhaps a mummy outfit from bandages? Any other ideas? She's going to a party tonight so i need something quick and easy, no sewing involved. when i pulled out her old costume from the cupboards it was all dogeared and moth eaten.


  • Cut up old white sheet for a ghost. Wear a long bright skirt with lots of scarves and lots of jewelry for a gypsy look. A white plastic garbage bag with head and armholes = white trash. A white sheet with a yellow splotch on the front, a pair of devil horns, pitchfork and tail = deviled egg.


  • maybe she could be a tinman? you could get a funnel cover it in tin foil and put it on her head! maybe steel wool for hair, silver face paint,silver/grey outfit just a thought! or a witch is always an easy one good luck


  • You could run out to Wal-Mart and make a simple Kitty costume:

    Materials:
    1. Black Shirt (If none are owned)
    2. Black Pants/Tights (If none are owned)
    3. Black Kitty Ears
    4. Black Shoes (If none are owned)
    5. Face Paint (To Paint on Nose, Whiskers)

    - Wal-Mart has loads of Halloween costumes. You shouldn't have any problem finding anything there.

    - Wal-Mart has premade costumes, so you could just pick out a full costume there.


  • You could just take some basic makeup and turn her into a zombie. Pale face, dark around her eyes, some baby powder in her hair to make it look dusty.


  • --Always dress in black and be a cat..maybe have a headband with contruction paper ears. Draw the wiskers on the face (Same with dog)

    --farmer: pigtails, plaid shirt, overalls, freckles on face

    --Pig: pink outfit (stuff it if need be), nose, ears, tail

    --Grape: Purple balloons blown up and attached to a paper bag (easy to slip on) use tape to attach the balloons. Or saftey pin them to the outfit

    --Rabbit: white outfit, pink nose, cotton tail, floppy ears

    --Old Lady: grey hair, old fashion dress, old pocket book, glasses

    --Nerd: high pants, tucked in shirt (with pocket for pens/pencils)..maybe button the shirt wrong, suspenders, glasses with tape in the middle, pigtails, white socks


  • a fairy , you can make the wings with wire , and put leggings meterail over with sparkles . and wear a skirt and stuff.

    pipi long stockings, a jumper .. dress thing , longsleeve bright shirt under, long striped socks , put wire in your braids .. freckles
    flinstones character .. you can make the green shirt and cut out black triangles to put on it. then make a bow to put in your hair .
    twister girl , use the twister mat as a dress, and use the spinner as a hat .
    70's outfit . bright oldie clothes , lots of bracelets and stuff.
    zoro .. black cape , black dress , thing over eyes .
    a cat .
    ooor , be mario and lugi with a friend .
    puss and boots .
    or a construction worker
    pirate;
    black skinny jeans
    vest
    wite black or red top
    gold necklace
    u could be soccer fan or football fan or player
    eigties girl;
    u can take a baggy tee and cut it to make it off shoulder with a beader under skirt with leggings or skinny jeans converse or flats or if u have leg warmers or arm warmers
    you could do like diva with lots of pink and fake lashes
    or u could cut a sheet and be a ghost
    or lolypop;
    tank leggings hoodie shorts(soffees) high socks shoes all in same color or like pink and white or something
